How does the Gift Subscription work?

Gift subscriptions make a great present for those who love Japanese culture or new snacks! You can select the size and subscription plan under our Gift Subscriptions page. Once you select the plan, all you need is the recipient's e-mail! No address necessary. *Gift subscriptions have a minimum of 3 months.*

All gift subscriptions do not renew so you will not be charged when the subscription term is over. The recipient will not have access to your account and will not be able to see your payment details.

We send the recipient an e-mail with a link to Claim their gift and to input their shipping address. There they can see who sent it and a special message from the sender. 

Gifts must be Claimed in order to be shipped.

Gift subscriptions have a Claim deadline like regular subscription. They must be claimed before the last day of the month in order to be shipped out the following month. For example, if your gift was bought on the 1/10 and claimed on 1/25, it will be shipped out on the 2/5. If the gift was bought on the 1/29 but wasn't claimed till 2/1, the recipient will have to wait till 3/5 for their crate.
